Living in a city might mean that keeping a garden is not always an option, while actually there is not much more needed than two elements which are a part of the city landscape: concrete and plants.

concrete - symbiosis offers the possibility to take in a piece of local flora. It also challenges to think in a new way about nature in the city and to cherish its unnoticed treasures. The concrete biotopes can be cultivated both in- and outside, creating a new form of horticulture with an appreciation for nature taking over.

concrete - symbiosis is a project by designers Sara Martin Mazorra and Merel Slootheer.
